Frisbeetarianism - not just a joke anymore?

George Carlin’s quip, “Frisbeetarianism is the belief that, when you die, your soul goes up on the roof and gets stuck,” immortalized by some Doper or another’s sig line, may be being taken more seriously than you’d expect in some quarters.

Ed Headrick, who designed to production model of the Frisbee for Wham-O, died two days ago at age 78, after a series of strokes he suffered while playing Frisbee Golf.

Again, I say:

Did I mention,?

Wow, it’s been a bad coupla months for Wham-O. First Arthur Melin, their co-founder and Hula Hoopster, dies on June 28, and now this.

If I read both articles correctly, it was Fred Morrison who invented the Frisbee in the 50s and Headrick who gave it its modern form, yes?

here’s hoping Ed gets his wish,

The first people I RPGd with had set up Frisbeetarianism as a religion, I don’t know that they ever had any clerics for it. But it was funny at the time. All Hail the Great God Whamm-O!
I sure hope I get my wishes fufilled when I die.
