Fruit Salsa

So I’m planning on making fruit salsa for the Super Bowl next Sunday. Anyone want to share recipes? You need something besides sweet to make it a salsa, I’d think, but it needs to go well with cinnamon sugar baked chips. I’ve read about onion and peppers, but does that really mix well? Or should we add sour?

Or am I just thinking about it all wrong?

Diced mango, red onion, jalapeño, a bit of cilantro (or parsley if you can’t stand cilantro), a pinch of salt, and a squeeze of lime makes a damn good treat. Peaches or pineapple would definitely work in place of the mango if you prefer.
