Fuck all you warmongering pieces of shit

I think there’s a sort of psychological hump that must be scaled and overcome, for many of us who, like me, were taught and believed nearly all our lives that Israel, flawed as it might be, was overall a force of decency and protection for Jews, and always would be, and (importantly - and now clearly falsely) was assumed to be inherently immune to the forces of supremacism and bigotry and atrocity on a large scale, due to the circumstances of its birth.

Many are still struggling with this hump. Babale clearly isn’t even close to considering it. @Jackmannii, hopefully you’re not so stubborn or otherwise unwilling to challenge these assumptions. Just like Palestinians and Gazans are a people like any other, so are Jews and Israelis. As individuals, just as susceptible to supremacism and bigotry. Just as able and willing to rationalize and excuse atrocities. The US obviously isn’t special - neither is Israel or any other country. Israel has, multiple times, deliberately held back sufficient food and health supplies to meet the needs of the people of Gaza. No one really denies this, outside of the Netanyahu/Trump bubble. Even Babale admits they deliberately chose incompetent clowns to lead the Gazan aid effort for political reasons. By itself, that’s more than enough to be concerned about a genocide in the making. Add on everything else, and it’s crystal clear that actual genocide should be a much, much higher concern than worrying about overstating accusations of genocide.
