Fuck all you warmongering pieces of shit

I agree. The Iranian strikes look very much like “self defense”. Much moreso than most of what’s been happening in Gaza.

Never heard of Ritter Sport, but handmade chocolates are the best, I’m fond of Margie’s Candies in Chicago

Except for the actual Iranian hospitals and schools caught in the crossfire, I guess you mean…because borh were certainly hit

Correction.

Americans opposed to genocide in Gaza are called antisemitic, not radicals. Hell, even Israelis opposed to it are called antisemitic.

Most people support genocidal violence in return, which is the whole point. The Israelis grab land, attack random Palestinians and otherwise whip up as much hate as they can so that the Palestinians lash out; then then go and kill far more Palestinians and grab more land while claiming self defense. And like you, make speeches about how it was perfectly reasonable for them to retaliate. Then go right back to committing provocations as the cycle restat.

It’s the same style of genocide that the US used agaisnt the native Americans; I wouldn’t be surprised if the Israelis are consciously copying us. Althoguh I doubt any will be left alive on reservations, the entire population will be exterminated. Then they Israelis start attacking and genociding their neighbors for more lebensraum in the same way, claiming self defense the whole time.

…Israel literally bombed a television station while it was live on air.

610 Iranians were killed while 28 Israelis were killed. Israel destroyed 9 ambulances, struck and damaged 7 hospitals. They assassinated multiple nuclear scientists, many of them with no connection to the nuclear weapons programme.

The amount of deference people still give to Israel after everything we’ve seen over the last two years kinda blows my mind. Israel did exactly the same thing in Lebanon. They targeted hospitals, schools and journalists and lied about why they did so.

The kind of shenanigans that they get up to, from Pegasus, to disguising themselves as doctors and nurses so they can extra-judicially murder people in hospitals, to sabotaging international supply chains so they can commit terrorist attacks (including killing children and healthcare workers) by blowing up pagers. I found out that murdering Iranian scientists is something that Israel has been doing for so long they even have a Wikipedia page about it!

If any other country did just a fraction of what Israel gets up to we’d be calling them a rogue state. Instead, some people can’t even acknowledge that Israel are playing by exactly the same playbook: deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure and then lying about it.

The reality is that, unlike Iran, Israel actually has nuclear weapons. They just pretend that they don’t. And unlike Iran, there is no oversight. No negotiations. No nonproliferation treaty. No safeguards.

And everybody is just fine with that. The country that people are only just now acknowledging is committing genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing in the West Bank and is an apartheid state and routinely breaks its “ceasefire” with Lebanon made an exception in the case of Iran, that was targeted “relatively cleanly.”

Except it wasn’t.

If Iran launched a campaign to murder Israeli nuclear scientists in their sleep, Israel would bomb Iran into oblivion and the whole world would be just fine with that. If Iran sent pagers into Israel that targeted and killed Mossad agents and generals, it would be called terrorism. But when Israel does it, it’s funny.

There is something really really wrong here. I just wish some of you had the ability to ask yourself why this is. That even though you acknowledge that Israel are committing genocide in Gaza, you still give them the benefit of the doubt.

By “intentionally starved Gaza and prevented aid from reach the people living there”, are you possibly referring to interdicting shipments of food and aid that were being diverted to Hamas, including reselling relief supplies for cash to buy more weapons with?

Are you even reading what you’re writing, there? Multiple nuclear scientists. What do you think they had to do with?

They don’t. They just pretend that they do.

It is possible to be a nuclear scientist and have nothing to do with nuclear weapons. What is so hard to grasp about that?

…nuclear power. Some of them were just lecturers. I went and read their biographies. I even went and read what the Jerusalem Post had to see if they could share any connection with the nuclear weapons programmes, and most of them didn’t.

Yeah. My local grocery even carries it, but it caters to a lot of Polish, so has chocolates from that part of the world. And at normal, not specialty store, prices! Like a bar is something around $2-$3. Always been a fan of the biscuit one and the corn flakes one.

…every single humanitarian agency on the ground, INCLUDING Cindy McCain from the World Food Programme, says this isn’t happening.

What is your source?

Lumpy’s rectum?

…here is the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice on Israel and the occupied territories:

You keep asking this:

As if the rocket and mortar attacks just kinda randomly happened.

The reality is that those rocket and mortar attacks are part of a much larger conflict, one that isn’t ancient history.

And if you are going to conduct an illegal occupation, subjugate its population, allow settlers to conduct regular pogroms, blow up the airport, shoot fisherman if they dare venture out to far to sea, when you shoot 6000 peaceful protesters (killing 189 of them, including 35 children), when you have thousands of people locked up with no charge and no hope of release, when apartheid is policy…you would have to be a fool not to expect there to be some sort of resistance.

Especially when the international community choose to side with the group that continually violates international law. Fighting back was inevitable. You can’t just keep applying pressure and not expect it to eventually release.

I’m not excusing Hamas’s firing of the rockets. And I’ll say it again in case there is any doubt: October 7th was an atrocity. A terrorist attack. I condemn it completely.

But the situation in Gaza and the West Bank has been hopeless for a very long time. Almost nobody was in their corner. I have to admit I wasn’t. I associated Gaza with “terrorism.” After everything I’ve learned over the last two years I’m ashamed of that now.

And now it’s nearly over. All we have left of Rafah are photos, videos and memories. Israel have destroyed Mosques and churches and historical sites centuries old. They destroyed every single university.

Yes: the rockets that Hamas fired into Israel was bad. But it’s disingenuous to view that in isolation and ignore the greater conflict. And it blows my mind that you’d bring that up here, as if you’ve found the perfect “gotcha”, while Israel is in the process of wiping Gaza from the earth.

And please, by all means, correct me if I’m wrong, but I can’t recall you even remotely condemning that. As in a full throated “what Israel is doing is an atrocity” without any caveats or excuses.

This is literally the opening speech to The Dictator, only Banquet Bear thinks he’s being sincere about never bombing Israel.

There’s literally one reason to enrich to 60% - past 20%, really. But don’t let facts get in Banquet Buddy’s way. You’re just racist for not trusting the Supreme Leader 99% of the time (the 1% is when he says he wants to destroy Israel, don’t listen when he says that).

I like a little more chocolate then the biscuit one has, but the cornflake one is one of my favorites, maybe my very favorite when I want “sweet and crunchy”. I also love the (admittedly boring) hazelnut ones, both dark and milk. And the almond ones.

I think you misread his post. He said that some of the individual scientists who were assassinated were involved in nuclear power, not nuclear bombs.

I have not researched them, have no clue what they did, and I’m not close enough to that field to know how transferrable the expertise is. But i didn’t see Banquet_Bear denying that Iran was working towards nuclear bombs, only whether the people Israel killed were.

It’s the same program. “Once the Uranium is enriched, who cares where it achieves criticality? That’s not my department.”

Incidentally, if precision strikes were a thing in World War II, and the Allies wanted to use one to take out von Braun, they’d be fully justified.

With AI you could cast John Ritter, Maurice Chevalier, Ted Knight, Wayne Knight and eight other guys in a Shakespeare play.

Well, that’s a reasonable reply to his post. “There’s only one reason to enrich beyond 60%” is our in left field.
