Fuck all you warmongering pieces of shit

Trump has a similar gangster mindset, and gangsters often come to bad ends.

Which puts Capone one up on Trump, who wouldn’t ever use kind words.

Aw, Baron is 2-1/2 inches too tall for the army. Otherwise we’re sure he’d be right where the action is.

I’m strongly hoping that our intel sources and defense capabilities can protect all of our deployed troops and our citizens around the world. Iran has been hit hard and they’ll likely strike back sometime, somewhere. We all have to be on the alert.

I’m also strongly hoping that Iran chooses to work to achieve peace. The choice is theirs. But they cannot be trusted.

While Dad is 2 1/2 inches too short for anything.

And theirs’s alone, ‘cause Trump has made it clear that he doesn’t want ‘’’‘‘peace’’‘’'.

No it’s not. There’s nothing they can do to “achieve peace” short of the entire nation committing mass suicide.

Are you pretending that Netanyahu is remotely reliable when it comes to giving a timeframe for when Iran will have the bomb when he has literally been saying it is ‘months away’ for the past 33 years?

ETA: Go find whoever the fuck you have a problem with “breakout time” is and talk to them. It isn’t me either, asshole.

Since this never seems to go away: the B-2 has been used in Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq and Yemen. If anything, the opposite is true: the Air Force has a hard-on for using it when it isn’t actually needed. Remember way back when in 1999 when we accidentally bombed the Chinese embassy in Belgrade? Those bombs were dropped by a B-2.

To be clear, your position here is that Iran could agree to abandon its uranium enrichment, stop arming Hezbollah and its Houthi proxies, stop attacking neutral oil tankers, demilitarize the Strait of Hormuz and return the islands it seized to Sharjah and RAK, and give up on bankrolling every Shia sectarian group they can find on Fiverr—hell, disband the Quds force and stop its military cooperation with Russia and North Korea—and the American position would be “too bad, the Iranian Revolution hurt our feelings, get fucked now and forever?”

I have no idea if these airstrikes will turn out to be “a good idea” or “necessary” and I definitely don’t think it was the result of meaningful and lengthy considered analysis of the geopolitics on the side of American planners. Iran’s chief failing in that regard has long been that they assume the US is thinking about them much more than the US is, which leads them to assume that America’s posture is both rational and consistent.

But the notion that Iran is minding its own business—has been minding its own business at any point in the last 45 years—and could have done nothing to foresee or prevent this terrible thing which came out of the clear blue sky just seems… incredible.

So, anyway, what is breakout time? Online, it seems to be the time it takes for a cybersecurity thread to break out of any safety systems.

The time between the moment Iran decides it wants to stop following the deal and takes concrete, disallowed steps to build a bomb, and the moment it has a nuclear weapon it can deploy.

OK. And what’s your reliable evidence for how long the breakout time is?

Netanyahu is an extremist war-mongering hawk, but sometimes extremist war-mongering hawks can be in the right. Iran has openly stated its desire to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, and is in the process of developing a nuclear weapon. Those two things together pose a clear and existential threat to Israel.

I’ve said before that if Israel were a person, that person would be judged to be an extreme paranoiac. But paranoia is not a vice when they really are out to get you, and have publicly said so.

I have no special reason to defend Israel, and especially not to defend Netanyahu. But I would similarly defend any country that was under this kind of existential threat.

At what point? When the attack on their program started? When they were complying with the nuclear deal? Before the nuclear deal?

Pretty much. I think his hitch is up in August, so hopefully he’ll be out of there before being sent to a hot zone.

Oh, sure no one in the Department of Defence wants it to look like they bought a white elephant, so they use the B-2 when the opportunity arises. But the whole point of it was to be difficult to detect with radar. My point was that it never seems to be used in a place where radar and interception is a real threat, not that it’s never used at all.

Including sex.

Stormy Daniels is my cite.

So far I’ve seen no actual evidence that there was a more urgent threat now as opposed to other points in the last few decades. And I certainly give absolutely zero benefit of the doubt to Netanyahu or Trump, two of the most dishonest scumbags ever to lead a country, nor their disgusting retinues. Their insistence that it had to be now is no more influential or meaningful than the insistence of a random internet crank.

Counterpoint: the US dropped two atomic bombs on Japanese cities and Japan surrendered. Sometimes this actually works.
