So Israel is reimposing the siege conditions that led to famine last year. Except now they don’t even have the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” gauntlet providing tiny amounts of food. So this siege will be worse than the last one. (Except for the mass slaughters, of course, for people trying to get food from the GHF)
Palestinians in Gaza are already living in hell on earth. And Netanyahu’s Israel has just decided to make it worse.
What does this mean for the current conflict?
That anyone telling you that Israel and America are “doing it for the good of the Iranian people” are lying to you.
Netanyahu’s Israel and Trump’s America don’t care about the Iranian people. They are letting Palestinians die of starvation, of disease, of living in broken tents, mud, rain, rats and squalor.
And they will do that to Iran if they could.
This is the world they want us to live in now. What we are seeing is a deliberate attempt to change the world that we live in. Hospitals, journalists, schools, aid workers, doctors, and nurses - they are all legitimate targets. Starvation is a legitimate weapon of war. The Geneva Conventions will go the same way as the US Constitution: just paper that they can completely ignore.
Israel has established torture camps where they hold Palestinians without charge and subject them to cruel and degrading punishments. America is exporting their prisoners to be tortured…although the ICE Camps are a sign of things to come. Drones hunt people down, and shoot children in the head.
America now uses peace talks as a setup to locate leadership and kill them. And when they aren’t assassinating leadership, they are kidnapping them and will convict them in a kangaroo court. Israel will send in soldiers disguised as doctors and nurses to carry out extrajudicial killings in hospitals; they will sabotage the supply chain to set off pager bombs that indiscriminately kill and injure, and some people on this board will cheer.
Netanyahu’s Israel and Trump’s America are rogue states that are a bigger danger to world peace and stability than China, Russia and Iran. You can’t even say “Free Palestine” on TV and not get it censored, either by the state or by people who are complicit with the state. That is how far things have gone.
Trump’s America has reshaped the federal government. Netanyahu’s Israel and Trump’s America are attacking the United Nations, they are attacking international law, they have sanctioned judges and lawyers at the ICC. There is a ceasefire in place. Israel was supposed to let in 600 trucks per day. They couldn’t even manage to let in half of that number. (And COGAT are lying about how many trucks they let in.) Over 600 Palestinians have been killed during this “ceasefire”, which Israel broke every single day. And now they have reinstated the siege. Do you condemn the siege?
