Exactly. Trump is a malignant narcissist; for his entire life, everything he’s done has been for him, and only him. He doesn’t care about the Iranian people, or Israel, or America for that matter; none of those things are Trump, and are therefore are of no value save as they serve the profit and glorification of Trump: Center of the Universe.
Any theory for his actions that claims good intent on his part is false. He doesn’t do that. Trump would kill a billion people for a nickle and consider it pure profit and a…well, not a justified sacrifice because he wouldn’t even consider it a sacrifice. An intrinsic moral good, since it benefited him. He’s certainly not going to bomb Iran because he actually think or cares that it would help the Iranian public; none of them are him.
Your view seems to be to not engage with the world as it is and just talk it out with no recognition of the realities. Iran is probably the #1 sponsor of terrorism in the world. You seem ok to twiddle your thumbs while they get a NUCLEAR weapon along with missiles that can hit anywhere in the world.
But war is bad is the best you’ve got. I agree war is bad but I am not sure the alternative of doing nothing is better.

I don’t accept your claims. Iran is bad but that doesn’t mean liars like Netanyahu and Trump are right about the supposed imminent threat. You’re just taking their word for it. Maybe Iran is really, really awful, but not actually an imminent existential threat to anyone except their own people. Maybe war (ESPECIALLY a war with no coherent aims or long term plan) isn’t going to help the Iranian people or reduce terrorism. Maybe war, especially with such idiots in charge, will make it worse. Maybe diplomacy and negotiation are better options.

I agree with you. I am not supporting this attack on Iran. This is Trump and his idiots wagging the dog. Nothing more. If Trump really wanted to help he should have supported the Iranian protestors a month or so ago. Let them sort themselves out.
