The first dead soldiers have returned to America. And once again, Trump couldn’t be bothered to attend their homecoming (or at least he wasn’t in the photo I saw).

I’m not sure I agree with this. I just have a hard time accepting my country using lethal force to accomplish regime change. What I’ve seen so far, combined with my country’s past of flat-out lying us into war, sure falls short of the mark.
With these qualifications, I come closer to being willing to agree. But I’m already seeing reports of Iranian deaths ranging from 550 to 1500. I’m expecting it to end up closer to your concluding paragraph:
Not even regime change. Certainly not in Venezuela, where the narco-terrorists are still comfortably in charge (but they’re careful to say nice things about Donald).
In Iran, the guy they killed (the Ayatollah) wasn’t the guy who made all the decisions—he was the figurehead, but he had councils doing a lot of the running of the country. And they are still there.
Donald needs ongoing war, at least as far as November, so he can Declare an Emergency. (Fending off potential Democratic Party wins.) But he could not care less whether the theocracy remains in power, with a mere change in the faces on the posters.
The fact that Donald needs this to keep going does virtually ensure that there will be a lot more deaths among US service members, though. That, he will accomplish.
C’mon, the “regime change” thing is so last Saturday. Gotta keep up.
Right now the Dow Jones Industrial Average is down around 1,200 points. No worries for your 401k though - “investors” will shortly decide that the war is a good thing and stocks will soar back up again.

Muslim children, Iranian children. By both American and Israeli standards that means they were intrinsically evil and deserved death, by preference a slow one. If any of the warmongers regret it, it’s probably that explosives were used instead of napalm, to make their deaths longer and more painful.
I suspect that Trump’s advisers are having to work hard to keep Trump from dropping nukes on Iran.

And sure enough, the Dow has recovered all but about 400 points of its earlier precipitous drop.
