It seems Joe is angry at McCain for backing the 700 billion dollar and I quote:
I just want to know… WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?? It’s been way longer than 15minutes, why are you still making news? McCain took you from your dead end job as an unlicensed plumber, put you on a national stage, and this is how you repay him???
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I love this last bit in the article:
HOLY FUCK STICK! This nimrod has a book?? Is it a pop-up? Large print? What the fuck does he have to say that could fill a book? You know a book you should read?? It’s called “How to get a plumber’s license, and GO FUCK OFF!” Oprah had it in her book club last month, it should be easy to find.
God I hate this prick…
I think I could have used the word “fuck” at least one more time in this post. Oh, look what I did! I should write a book…
I seriously think you people are deranged. Why does anyone care about one working class guy from Ohio? He pinned Obama down on a question, Obama didn’t think and answered honestly, but that happened weeks before an election that’s been over for a month and a half. What relevance does Joe the Plumber have to anything at all these days? How many threads are we going to have on this, anyway?
I’m fairly certain that if CNN were not still doing stories on him, and were he not coming out with a fucking book, there would be no more threads about him, ever. He might be mocked in passing occasionally; I for one am currently trying to figure out a good Joe-the-plumber related insult to work into a conversation, but I think it’s safe to say there would be no more dedicated threads absent his incessant recurrences in the national spotlight.
No he didn’t. He misrepresented himself and lied Obama took him at his word. Right wing media demagogues seized on the phrase “share the wealth” and tried to equate it with “socialism.” A concept which I guarantee Joe the fuck plumber has never studied in his life. Anyone who thinks any graduated tax system is automatically “socialism” (as Joe the welfare sponge says he believes) is fucking retarded. If Obama is a “socialist,” the so is Ronald Reagan, since Obama’s proposed brackets are about the same as his. Or how about the fact that Sarah fuck Palin levied a windfall profits tax on oil companies in Alaska and literally passed out checks to every man, woman and child in the state, regardless of employment or tax status, in order to buy popularity. You now what she called it? She called it “sharing the wealth.” This idea that he somehow embarrassed Obama or “pinned him down,” is something I didn’t think anyone on thos board was dumb enough to fall for.
As for Sam the unemployed not-plumber – John McCain made the asshole famous and lt him ride on his bus and was nothing but nice to him (even though McCain certainly knew behind the scenes what an embarrassing tool the guy was), and now this guy who isn’t worthy to wipe McCain’s ass (or Obama’s for that matter) is going around with his 8th grade education and his pea sized brain pompously talking shit about John McCain like he has even a wisp of comprehension of the issue?
You’re right, no one should give a rat’s ass about this bald-headed freeper’s ignorant-ass opinions, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be called out as an asshole for trying to make money by bad-mouthing far better men than he is.
Not at all. The OP is a perfect example of someone who should be pitting themselves. Here’s a clue: The media does stories on JTP BECAUSE good ole’ Dob is going to go round talking and posting about just how outraged he is about JTP getting publicity. He even puts a link to the story in his OP for God’s sake! He has become what he decries, a self perpetrating, indulgent whine of outrage. He’s the 24/7 news coverage version of a parental advisory sticker. It’s not the MSM he should be pitting, it’s not CNN, or MSNBC or anyone else. CNN is talking about JTP because you’re paying them to, by clickthroughs to their story, by talking about their coverage, by giving this absurd non-story the blessing of your ire and the legitimacy of your attention. The Fault, Dear Brutus, lies not in our stars, but in ourselves.
And your guy lost. You can stop with the delusional, self-denying, faux-stoic, knuckle-dragging attempts to avoid anybody being able to talk about any of the examples of and reasons why.
If you suddenly and unexpectedly get put in the national news surrounding a major issue like he was, you’d be stupid not to write a book. It can be total garbage, but since you’re temporarily famous, people will buy it and all you have to do is reap the profits. So I can’t blame him there.
I think this is fucking great. The right wing radioheads know that they have to keep getting more outrageous to keep their audience now that the election’s over, and the more they push idiots like Joe the Plumber and Sarah Palin the more they alienate the moderates and Democrats. Glen Beck and Rush and Hannity are starting to ruin the Republican party but they don’t give a shit because they never gave a shit - they’re in it for the ratings and the bucks that follow.
Video: NBC Political Director Chuck Todd offers his analysis of the latest NBC/WSJ poll.
*** Divorcing Bush: While the public is giving Obama a nice honeymoon, it’s finalizing its divorce from President Bush. A whopping 79% in the poll say they’re not going to miss him when he leaves office. That’s compared with 55% who said the same of Clinton in December of 2000. Moreover, almost half (48%) think that Bush will go down as one of the worst presidents in our history. Just 18% said that of Clinton and only 6% said that of Bush 41. But Bush 43 isn’t the only Republican who has taken a hit in the new NBC/WSJ poll. Dick Cheney leaves office with sporting an all-time low in his personal rating. And the Republican Party’s fav/unfav is 27%-52%, which is its lowest rating ever in the poll (by comparison, the Democratic Party’s is nearly reversed, 49%-28%). And get this: The most popular Republican we tested is Condi Rice, whose fav/unfav 47%-18%. But among Republicans only, the most popular is Palin – with a whopping 73%-13% rating. But Palin’s overall score is a net negative, 35%-45%, which means she fares poorly among Democrats and independents.
You really must know read much that I’ve had to say on this matter, because I can tell you exactly why McCain lost, And little of it has to do with Barry, the lions share of the fault lies squarely on McCain’s shoulders.
Dio, what you’re lying about, and attempting to obscure with your disingenuous comments about taxes and Ronald Reagan, is the fact that Obama is a Socialist. He is, always has been, and always will be. From his own writings and statements it is obvious that European style Democratic Socialism is the system of government that he favors. He attempts to obscure it because he knows that a majority of Americans wouldn’t buy into it, people like you come into place like there and do the same thing, because you know the same. What Obama proposed when campaigning has about as much in common with how Ronald Reagan governed as shit does with steak, and you damn well know it. The epiphany of the JTP clip wasn’t that Obama was lying or posturing or pandering for votes, it’s that for once he was telling the truth. Says a lot about your guy that you, and his campaign, and his supporters, seem compelled to spend so much time and energy attempting to obscure that simple fact.
