I know I’m skating on thin ice talking about a female politicians looks, but is it just me, or does Kristi Noem look a lot like Melania Trump in that video? She looks very different in earlier pictures and videos and pictures that I’ve seen of her. I wonder if this is a conscious attempt to please Donald.
I don’t think he is still pleased enough by Melania to be impressed by another woman channeling her.

The French government says Kristi Noem lied.
“While in Paris, I was slated to meet with French president Emmanuel Macron,” she wrote in the book. “However, the day before we were to meet he made what I considered a very pro-Hamas and anti-Israel comment to the press. So, I decided to cancel.”
Macron’s office told NBC News that there is no record of Noem ever being scheduled to meet the president, nor had she ever been invited.
I’m not saying that it would work, I’m just wondering if she thought it might.
I don’t think the word “thought” means for her what it means for you.

Not just you. I saw a still photo of the two of them and I thought is was ol’ Melanoma herself.
I will point out a personal experience of just how a big a fuckup this was for Noem’s career. I gave a speech at the Republican state convention a few years back. In my speech I introduced my self and talked about my background, family, etc. You all know how political speeches go. At the last second I went a little off script and wanted to say my dog was named for Teddy Roosevelt (truth). As soon as I said, “I am also a dog owner …” the room full of MAGAs erupted in spontaneous applause. That was the best response to my speech.
