I think the point is that it’s very much not their natural looks. They deliberatly gave themselves that Real Housewives appearance.

I went to my Chicken Guy’s place for eggs and he showed me his dog’s new trick. The dog that killed all of his chickens a year ago now protects his birds from the wildlife and will also fetch eggs.
That dog was a serious asshole a year and a half ago, now that she has a job, she is happy and just the sweetest dawg ever.

But things can change. Republican’s have ratcheted towards extremism starting when Bozell ghostwrote Goldwater’s 1964 presidential campaign biography in 1960. During the 1964 Republican convention, Goldwater’s supporters angrily voted down a proposal by Rockefeller to denounce extremism on the left and right: they liked the John Birch Society after all. There will come a day when a larger chunk of the Democratic base becomes less responsible and more populist: visit Twitter for a preview. But there’s a lot of ruin in a nation and a party, and the Dems have yet to begin ratcheting down.
