Fortunately, unlike you, I keep my Facebook profile locked down with privacy settings. Which, if you’ll go back upthread, was the whole point of me pointing this out to you in the first place. I’m not a hacker. My POINT was that there ARE some unhinged people OUT there. In addition, there are the 4chan types, who, while sane, are not to be messed with. I’ve not personally seen cases where people have had to deal with repercussions from online trolling, but it happens.

Finding out ‘who’ someone is, because they have their email address linked to their profile, is not a ‘threat’.
I’m sure it was. I’ve done some things in the public eye and don’t really hide who I am. That’s different than keeping my FB locked up though.
Also, I honestly don’t have any programs to fund or university donors to worry about or whatever - so hopefully you’re not ruining some guy’s life just because he and I share the same name.
