Fuck you, you racist, homophobic motherfuckers. Hope the next Bush administration treats you well.
And a special FUCK YOU to Ohio.

Sheesh. Calm down.
Look—Ohio is still too soon to call. I just saw a report on TV—some of the more urban sections haven’t all been counted and their votes may go mostly for Kerry. We just don’t know what’s going to happen at this point.
Calm down. How many “the sky is falling” OPs do we need here? Get a grip.
I’m from the South…
And I’m not a racist or homophobic motherfucker!
Get over yourself! :wally
The election is not over yet asshole.
Let’s see, wayyy back when it became apparent that Kerry was going to win the Democratic nomination, I opined that he was a poor candidate who wouldn’t carry a single southern state. I was jumped all over and ripped to metaphorical pieces for this observation. I wonder if any of those people will apologize now that I have been proven right? I’m not holding my breath.
I think Kel is refering to the Gay Marriage bans which seem to have passed in every state:
The OP surprises me… Though I do share the feeling. What is up with Michigan, Ohio, and Oregan with these bans… I expected them to be shot down there though I have not read the text of the admenments.
So whats the bet on Florida? Looking county by county it looks like only heavily leaning democratic precints are left in the reporting. But is it enough to make up the lead Bush is holding?
If thats the case then I apologize KEL…
I’m a bit emotional to right now also.
I did expect Ohio to pass the amendment regardless of what Taft says. This is not to say that I’m not utterly dismayed, and ashamed of my fellow Ohioans. Please remember that while a majority speaks, there’s a significant vocal minority that do not appreciate being lumped in with the rest of the yahoos. Fuck Ohio voters who couldn’t treat others as they’d want to be treated themselves.
We will continue to fight and eventually prevail. Y’all can explain to your kids one day why you were so behind the times.
Well, you know Kerry always said that marriage should be decided by the states and not by a Constitutional Admendment.
Yeah, I have a problem with that. I’m all for state’s rights, but no state has the right to discriminate against blacks. Why should this be any different?
I also expected Ohio to pass the amendment. There seems to be a large majority here who misread the commandment “Love thy neighbor” as “Mind thy neighbor’s business”. Of course, when Aunt Tillie no longer has health insurance cause Uncle Joe (not really Uncle, because they can’t afford to get married as it would screw up money) can’t cover her on his insurance at work, they’ll whine “That’s not what we meant at all!”
Fuck 'em, each and every one.
I’m torn as to how I feel about this. On the one hand I’m southern born, southern reared and currently a southern resident. On the other hand, I agree.
Oh great! So Aunt Tille and Uncle Hoe can’t get around to sealing a legal agreement and her company’s insurance should foot a large portion of the bill. As a libertarian, the phrase “Love thy Neighbor” means respect their choices and independence that do not infringe on others, not smile while they steal everything out out your house because their lifestyle choice means that they cannot support themselves.
Look–I’m in Ohio, and I’ve been living in this state for literally half my life.
I voted against Issue 1 (the homophobic proposition.)
I voted for John Kerry.
I tried to persuade other people to vote against Issue 1 and for Kerry.
Are you saying “Fuck you” to me, too?
Well, don’t worry your pretty little libertarian head over it, cause the homophobic voters fixed Aunt Tillie and Uncle Joe’s wagon for 'em. They’re gonna bitch about it when they realize what they’ve done, but you’ll be happy, right? And it matters if you’re happy, since you live in Massachusetts and the amendment was set in Ohio.
Oh, and Scribble? No. Not saying it to you.
To you and me both Scribble. I don’t see any exceptions in his post.
Generalizations generally suck.
This OP is no different.
And a member of the left shows their true colors.
And I suppose you’re saying there’s not a racist, homophobic motherfucker to be found in New England or California?
