The Eagles deserved to lose this Game, they don’t even look like they showed up. They underestimasted the Buccanners, and it Shows. They were all Talk and no Action.

I was really rooting for the Eagles, but it is 27-10 and 2 minutes left, F-U Eagles.
I hope the Raiders can beat the Titans, If not I will probably not watch the Superbowl - which I was hoping for an Eagles/Raiders Game.

I have a standing bet with some of my friends (Philly fans). If the Ealges win the Super Bowl in my lifetime, I will take them to the victory parade, buy them (and myself…blech) a T-Shirt, and stooge around all day saying how great the Eagles are.
Since the Iggles haven’t ever won a Super Bowl and haven’t won the NFL Championship in 43 years now, I’m feeling pretty safe for the time being.
However, I’d seriously think about selling my soul to see the Steelers win one.

The very last football game at the Vet, and while the fans came out ready to support their team like never before, the motherfucking Eagles came up small.
I got caught up in the Eagles hype, being a fan. But in hindsight, yes they won several games with a backup quarterback, but those wins were versus a broken down St. Louis, Dallas and Washington. Then they lost to the stinking Giants, and beat the Falcons while getting outgained on the field.
In other words, the Eagels were highly overrated by their fans. Donovan Mcnabb clearly was not ready, and Andy Reid, the supposed Coach of the Year, got outcoached by John Gruden as he turned out to be a very wise investment indeed.
Congrats to the Buccaneers, who in one game managed to wipe out any memory of all those losses at the Vet over the past few years.
I wish they would blow up the goddamned Vet tommorow, the place is cursed. Then again, how appropriate that the Birds lay an egg in their final game at the Vet?

While I am crushed that my Eagles choked like stinking dogs, I have to admit this year’s Super Bowl matchup could not have been better scripted.

I don’t know, I think it was a wholly appropriate final game for the Vet, the scene of so many past disappointments. Some of us are still mourning the '93 World Series.
Anyway, I’m just curious as to where the Vet’s rats are going to take up residence. (I’m referring to the four-footed ones. The 700 Level rats will pack up to the new stadium.) Watching them getting fat on discarded pretzels was a pretty good distraction from inevitable Phillies defeats.

I was watching the end of the game and McNabb showed his true effort at the end. After he thru that last interception and whats-his-ass who intercepted the pass was running by Mc Nabb and McKnob just kind of fucking jogged towards him. Didn’t try to stop him. Didn’t do shit. Just kinda jogged towards him. He was probably within a few feet of him and just let him go by.
I knew who ever the phi/atl wasmt going to get past the bucks
I mean the game they played made them both look like they didnt even belong in the playoffs and They were playing each other back in thair 2-11 days
