Saw an ad for the Claymore bluetooth speaker today–complete with “front toward party”.

If its a Claymore, should it not point away from the party?

It depends on how you feel about the party.

Not tech-y or cool. But I have a new pizza cutter.
It’s round. No handle. A sharp wheel with a plastic thing you hold on to, then drive it across the pizza. Cuts perfectly.

Big problem tho’. It’s a pita to clean.

But I love it.

'Murka! Yeah!

There’s a nearby daiso, a Japanese dollar store concept (except $2.25), that has, like, 20 kinds of chair socks and they’re just the cutest. I’ve snuck them onto some chairs here and there to much delight.

I go to a fair number of concerts, and the merchandise is pretty much always the same; t-shirts (black with skulls on, “unisex” because women don’t exist), sometimes hoodies, hats, stickers, pins and occasionally skateboard decks.

At the last show I went to, my absolute favorite band ever also had SOCKS! They’re very warm and a little big for me (“unisex”) and I can pull them up nearly to my knees for full dorkitude and they make me so freaking happy!

In addition to the band name and logo, the manufacturer name, Fuel, appears across the toes, two letters per foot. So one pair has a giant FU on it, which also pleases me immensely.

I get absolutely giddy when I’ve done laundry and can wear these socks again. I should have bought more than one pair!

My daughter came back from her first trip to Japan with this nail clipper, which she bought for ¥700 at a 7-Eleven. When she went back, her dad and I asked her to bring some back for us. I love these things! They’re large and sturdy, and they catch the clippings instead of letting them drop all over.

Just now saw this. Want.

I want chair socks like you wouldn’t believe. Oh my, my heart weeps for them.

Gotta find some.

Thx. @jnglmassiv . Yeah, Thx🤔

umm…isn’t a thing you hold on to usually called a handle?

Hah. I meant a long ergonomically incorrect handle. Usually wood or slippery plastic or metal.

This handle is half moon shaped around the wheel. Has a thumb guard on both sides(for leftys). Made of a grippy type plastic.

Thanks for that tip. For Canadian customers, this appears to be more or less the same item from Amazon Canada. I’ll probably get it the next time I order something (it doesn’t cost enough to qualify for free shipping by itself).

Ahhh, so those leftys are doin’ it sgain with their cancel culture, always protesting the ergonomically incorrect.

OK, what are chair socks??

Covers for the feet of chairs and stools. To prevent scratched floors.
Or…just cause they’re cute!!

Photos! Of the socks.

That reminds me of a joke !

Also … these are fun

Okay. The Japanese would hate me. I wear shoes inside. Our floors are not scratching and are very tough. Very fun to throw a toy for the dog, he jumps on it and slides about three feet, claws and all. No scratches on the floor. I wouldn’t really care either way. Floors are for walking on.

That thing looks like an accident waiting to happen.
