Ok, I watched “Joe’s Apartment” for the first time tonight…and now this danged song is stuck in my head! I guess I can’t complain too much, it’s probably one of the best songs in the movie, right up there with “Sewer Surfin’.”
The movie was fun, and the roaches (of course) stole the show. It was everything I expected - it was so dumb/lame/predictable it was funny.
What other Dopers have subjected themselves to this trivial little piece of celluloid and found themselves enjoying it?? Commentary, please! I don’t want to be alone!!!
Oh yeah…bf and I both love Joe’s Apartment . Weird little flick that it is, it cracks both of us up every time we watch it.

Matter of fact, Joe’s Apartment was a milestone in our relationship. We were watching another movie I had on tape, and Joe’s was on the tape right after it. I thought to myself, “either bf is going to love this, or think it’s the dumbest thing he has ever seen and wonder why the hell he is going out with me”.
I loved this movie when I was a wee lad. Haven’t seen it in a while though. I catch bits of it on TV every now and then and I still find it entertaining. The songs are great, esspecialy Kitty Cat Rodeo .
