There’s a wonderful Bizarro cartoon where two mechanics and a customer are standing at the entrance to a garage, and the lift has pancaked the customers car into the ceiling. One of the mechanics says, “Gary’s opinion is we wouldn’t have been able to fix it anyway.”
I don’t know how folks do it - favorite song, favorite food, favorite cartoon. Hell, I wouldn’t even have a favorite in a calender of cartoons let alone the tens of thousands I’ve seen in my life.
A couple of notes: Frank and Earnet is IMO very much under appreciated. Likewise perhaps surprisingly Mother-Goose and Grimm.
That alleged non-Kliban linked above does look and sound rather Klibanish.
“School for the Gifted” - didn’t even have to click the link, instantly came to mind.
Lampoon. The New Yorker didn’t allow profanity until the reign of Tina Brown.
I’ve always loved this cartoon by Rodriguez. Although nothing by any single cartoonist has ever equaled the best from the group mind of the Dysfunctional Family Circus. As always, Sturgeon’s Law applies, but when they are good, they are brilliant.
While I love Larson as much as all of you, this is my favorite cartoon. Because it’s true.

My favorite Far Side is one from The Complete Far Side. It seems to be a male thing, because my father-in-law and I died laughing at it, while his wife and my wife just looked puzzled and shook their heads. I can’t find it online, but:
