I think it’s the funniest site anywhere on the internet (don’t just look at my link, take a look at some of the history). Prove me wrong! What other truly hilarious sites are out there?
I love that site, I’ve been regularly visiting the last few weeks. I also enjoy Failblog from time to time.

It’s really the best. Yeah, The Onion is funny, XKCD is insightful and funny, but in terms of not-being-able-to-view-at-work-because-it’s-too-embarrassing, this one takes the cake.
Now that I think about it, is this kind of thread meant to go in IMHO?
Not to be a wet blanket (but here goes anyway), are those exchanges on DamnYouAutoCorrect real? I don’t find them that implausible, but how do they get the screenshots? Recreations I guess?
According to family members that have an IPhone, you can take and send a screenshot. I wouldnt know from personal experience, because I have never used one.
DYAC even has an app for that if you want to shell out $1.99 to send in your autocorrect adventures more easily.
Yeah you can press the home and sleep buttons (something like that) at the same time to take a screenshot. But it just seems unlikely that many people would know that, and would take the shot before any of the funny bit scrolls off the screen.
As others have said, yes, you can take screenshots. But, I did see the other day a website ‘iPhone chat screen generator’ – you enter a few lines of chat text, and it spits out an image like you see on that page. So, they’re very easy to fake. Which doesn’t make them much less funny, in my opinion. Some of them still make me laugh, even knowing they might be fake.
