So here I am this morning watching SpikeTV this morning, catching some Star Trek Deep Space 9. And this morning’s episode has the cast playing baseball against an all vulcan team and so in the very beginning of the game Sisko calls to the team, ‘let me hear some chatter!’
So they start with ‘Hey batter batter batter’ and such and then it flashes to Worf on first who cries, “Death to the opponents!”
Then later in the show after a runner didn’t tag home plate and then ran and hid among his close-in-appearance team in the dug out, Nog the Ferengi catcher is quite confused why the game action suddenly stopped. When someone yells out, “He didn’t touch base!” Nog cries out, “What do I do?” And good old Worf comes back and says “Find him and KILL HIM!”
