As some of you probably know in any kind of Christian church they have historical councils held in different places and normally are named after the place: the council of name and such. Anyhoo, I don’t know when, but some church held a council in the city of Worms (pronounces vorms) in Germany. Now this alone isn’t that humerous and neither is “The Council of Worms”. But being the whitty people they were they named it in German, and for those of you who don’t know the wort for Council in German is Diet. Ahem… the “Diet of Worms”
