Hey, does anyone know if there’s any pic online that features Jigglypuff, the singing Pokémon, wearing jeans? =)
I have no idea, but as long as no one else’s responded, let me throw in mny own $0.02 about the Jigger.
Does anyone else thing Jigglypuff sounds like something out of a rap song?
“Puff, Puff, Do the Jigglypuff
Puff, Puff, baby, Jigglypuff…”
…but when you get blue, and you’ve lost all your dreams, there’s nothing like a campfire and a can of beans!
I don’t know that Jigglypuff ever wears jeans, but here’s a site with hundreds of pics, and links to hundreds of other sites with pics… gah! Gotta catch em all!
Jigglypuff sounds like the prefect name for a Puffy Combs and Jennifer Lopez lovechild.
I’m not perky.
I don’t suppose anyone could help me, but as for pokemon pictures, I think it would be kinda nice to have a screen grab from the episode where Team Rocket was riding unicycles. Particularly the part where all there of them are in mid-air jumping the gap in the bridge. Not very majestic, I know, but still cool.
I didn’t see it in the pictures section of the link Nickrz provided. Anyone know if such a screen grab is out there somewhere?

I can’t say for sure that it’s there, but…

is my favourite site for Pokemon screen caps…
Of course, they don’t have the whole series, but they might have the one you’re looking for.
Um…not that I watch Pokemon of course…heheheh… ::Hides his stuffed Meowth…::

My two kids, aged 9 1/2 and 8 are completely immersed in this world. I remember the addiction all too well. For me,it was Star Trek. However- the complexity of this realm is surreal. I sometimes wonder if it was really created simply to give kids a foothold, in an adult world that is complex, layered, and largely shut off from them.
Now, they have their own songs, languages, names and battles to talk about. I took them to see the Poke’mon movie, and I fell asleep half way through it. I awoke JUST in time to see their hero die. In true cartoon fashion, however, he came back to life a few minutes later.
It’s not their obsession, I understand that all too well. Maybe it’s the astounding commercialism ( for which I PAY frequently, not them…) that dismays me so. Or, it could simply be that I cannot stand knowing that my kids get excited over a character whose head looks like a bulb of garlic. Who knows???

Actually, the Pokémon anime is rather charming, if you’re willing to accept the donnée. I cannot recall another kid’s show in 40 years that so well captures childhood’s sense that anything might be…

Watching Pokémon makes me feel the way I felt when I was so young I thought the Hardy Boys were real, grown-up books; yet it is marvelously free of the infernal preciousness of Barney or, yes, even Sesame Street.

The best Pokemon reference I have seen is the commercial for the animated Batman series where Robin is getting Batman to sing the Jigglypuff song. There is just something about Batman, creature of the night, scourge of evil everywhere, gravelly singing “Jiggly-puff… Jiggly-puff…” that I find hysterical… and I don’t watch either show!
Thanks Tengu, but sadly I don’t see it there, so I proceed to kick this thread back up to the top, hoping that someone else will see it who may be able to further assist me or LemonGrl in the search for our precious pictures

Peeee-kaaa-CHU!!
Wow, Daniel, you’re interested too? I feel less stupid now.
So if pictures of Jigglypuff wearing jeans don’t exist, can someone help me figure out how to make them? I’m a terrible artist, and my clipart sucks, so… help! And thanks!

Ohmigod, you’re the THIRD person I know of (including myself) that fell asleep in that godforsaken film.
I don’t mind Pokemon. My kids live for it. They’re really into Digimon now, which is a bigtime Pokemon ripoff.

Me too.Fell asleep. The movie was actually worse than all the other Pokemon stuff. I don’t mind most of it at all, I think it’s great for a kid to have these memories. But the movie had no subplot to amuse the adults.Team rocket should be funnier, more pathetic.
Actually, the Digimon game was released just after tamagochi’s, predating pokemon by at least a year. I agree that the marketing of Digimon rips off Pokemon.
As for the movie, I could have liked it if the music wasn’t so bad. And on top of that I had to buy the soundtrack for a @#$@# Jigglypuff card.
I’ll get out the colored pencils and see if I can’t whip up a Jigglypuff clad in jeans.
Meowth… That’s Right!
Just to really screw this thread up, I wonder if there is a place for adults who love Pokemon, I for instance am in my mid 20’s and I love the show. Its alright to embrace your inner child as long as you still work and pay the bills right ?
“Adults for Pokemon”. Now that would be a cool site.
Ok no one mention this post EVER again.
especially if it has pictures of Team Rocket on unicycles or Jigglypuff wearing jeans

So how about someone *draws *the pics and gives them to us? Typically selfish of me, I know, but if anyone’s interested, I’ll love you forever! MMMWWWWA!!
