Funny Signs You've Seen

I saw that, too! Gave us quite a chuckle.

In San Francisco, I was walking through the Castro district, and amongst all the scary leather shops there was a video store. It had a neon sign that said “Family and Adult Videos.” We did a double-take.

Near Lexington, KY there is a park by the name of “Big Bone Lick State Park” (it appears that the people are really friendly here)

There’s a street in my town called “Squid Row.” Not amusing, but cute all the same.

There’s also a sign along 101 an hour or so north of Santa Barbara that says “Pork Palace. Not open to the public.” I have no idea what that’s all about.

seen on a store front in Izmir Turkey

MUTFUK

and it sold…

Kitchens, sinks, stoves, cabinats, anything for the kitchen

mutfuk is Turkish for kitchen

I actually saw a sign in a mall that said “Ears pierced while you wait”
Geeze - I don’t think the kid running the kiosk should be allowed to have sharp instruments.

I’ve always loved the intersection of Nixon and Bluett! Can’t remember where it is, but that’s funny stuff!

There is a billboard somewhere up north by a church that cracked me up:

**Those without sin may ignore this sign. **

Here in Columbia, SC, we have the Boozer Shopping Center.

Strangely, there’s not a liquor store in the strip mall.

Here in Metro Detroit we have a road called **Big Beaver ** and a freeway called **I-696 **. Always cracks up the visitors.

Another “Lois Lane” is in Sharon, Mass.
My friend from there pointed it out once.

Two of my favourites-

When I was a kid, my dentist owned an acreage outside of town. The sign at the end of his driveway, most appropriately, said:

McMaster’s Tooth Acres

And the other: one of the public road signs near schools, has an outline of a child running across the street, and says proudly under it,

Slow Children Playing.

Well - it cracks me up. And a lot of other people.

The sign for my dentists proudly proclaims the offices of Dr. Paler and Dr. Wheeker. And I’m trusting these guys with my health?

My favorite was actually inside a bus:

Correction
There are some typo’s in the route 3a schedule,
which arrives at 7:15, instead of 7pm.
Maybe they should have gotten a different proofreader…

Outside Schull, co Kerry, Is a place called Lonley Street.

And yes, the house on it is nicknamed “Heartbreak Hotel”.

On a bus stop bench, in about 2 ft tall letters: Call 254-POOP (ad for septic company)

There’s a street near my neighborhood called: Reddick St.

Truck stop in LaPaz, IN - “Eat here get gas”

You forgot to mention that the exit for Big Beaver Road off I-75 is ** Exit 69**. And it’s in Troy, which would make the inhabitants Trojans…

Similarly related - a popular t-shirt at my Alma Mater –
“You have to take 69 to get her to Ball U!”

Ball State University is located in Muncie Indiana, off of I-69.

Hey, at least they’re from Earth. The people out by the airport are Romulans…

One of my favorites was a sign outside a Baptist church in Moss Point, Mississippi-Rummage Sale This Weekend-All New Rummage

Back in Rapid City, SD there is a little 1/2-block-long street called Kno Place.
