I would think the Director of the CIA wouldn’t want the world to know what his license tag was…
This morning:
Size XS
on a Smart car, of course.
Right now, in my parking lot on a US Navy license plate:
NIMITZ
Most state DMV’s will disallow certain letter combinations which form dirty words or those for illegal substances.
Except for the State of Florida’s, which has allowed “LSD” tags ever since I worked for them 23 years ago.
They also allow “FEA”, which is pretty bad when almost a majority of the population have at least a rudimentary knowledge of some Spanish.
An old list that I just found in my glovebox:
TUF 2 GET
I AM ST1G - no doubt a Top Gear fan
0 REGRTS
MNI CUPR - on a Mini Cooper, of course
NTRPRS - not sure what this meant
NTRL WMN - “Natural woman” - and an Aretha Franklin fan?
ADVOC8R - probably a lawyer or social activist
PR T NPNK - “Pretty in pink”
MSGOGO - “Ms. Go-Go”
I WONDER
GO ROW - paired with a crew bumper sticker
GA GRITS - Ohio plates, though…
ALL O NUN - “All or none”
SXCLNCE - “Sexcellence”?
BUGING - on a VW; really needed that second “G”
JESU AN I
DZ FAMILY
SXE NANA - “Sexy Nana”
U SIN2 - a fair point, I admit…
HNDCUF - on a car with a police decal
NVR 2 FAR
Plates on a Corvette parked outside the Metropolitan Urology Center: P P Doc
I suspect that NTRPRS = Enterprise.
Whether it’s a Trek fan or a business mogul is anyone’s guess.
This one is kind of interesting:
AKQJ10
SPQR= speaker… just a guess though
I’ll admit that I spent at least 30 seconds trying to sound that out.
My husband has a BFAT plate - he’s gained 12 lbs since he got it ![]()
At an Ubercon a few years ago, I saw a plate that said MEEPLE.
Also, AKQJ10? Not getting it. Clue-by-4, please!
Cards. Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10. ![]()
Oh, for … <sigh>:smack:
I didn’t even think of that. Nice.
I have had
RUTA2D2
RABIDK9
and
GADFLY 2 ( I left GADFLY and GADFLY 1 for Socrates)
I have seen
QQQQ
and
QQQQ2
both on motorcycles.
Will it help to see it with the plate frame?
A Justin Bieber reference?
I feel much better about not getting it the first time…
This.
Surprisingly, I have not been keyed yet.
