Funny vanity plates you've seen lately

There were a couple cars that parked near the place I lived 2 apartments ago that had SPQR ## plates. I burned with envy every time I saw one of them.

Will someone please explain what RTFM NUB is without insulting me?

::snerk::

Someone already did. There is one near my apartment that reads 4 nick 8, obviously the checkers weren’t paying much attention that day.

Recently on Failblog they had a (win) picture of the license plate VLAD THE on an Impala.

Back in the early 1990s, in California, there was a license plate that read “NGENTOT”. That is the Indonesian word for “fuck” (pronounced “nyen tot”).

As to “RTFM NUB”, it means, “Read the fucking manual, noob” (as has already been 'splained.)

My mom’s a pagan and believes in supernatural crap (pretty much the polar opposite of me). But she managed to snag the license plate GHOSTLY. I still think the plate’s pretty cool.

I would never get a vanity plate myself though. Anything that makes your car stick out makes it more likely to be pulled over, imo.

I believed you at first, but something seems fishy about your post.

WIN. This is all kinds of awesome. Bravo, good sir or madam, as the case may be.

OK I get the ghoti one, but this I don’t get.

I saw a purple Taurus with plate HAZE.

Shiny new BMW, attractive young woman driving it: THX DAD

Apply the same pronunciation rules to “Ongloti” that you do to “ghoti.”

I find the religious ones annoying. I am still trying to figure why anyone would have AUNT MOO. Yes, I saw it.

I have a bunch.

JAUNE on a yellow Bug.
AK47 4ME on a Pontiac something-or-other
BSHEIRT (Yiddish for “destiny”) on a Hyundai Sonata
MR PIE on a car belonging to the guy who owns a local pizza shop

I see P19 FRM about the place quite often. Agriculture’s big round here.

AZ38KR

Who thinks that’s funny?

And I saw YDD 348

as well as JUH 899

duh!!?

What.

So when he comes back, he really does bring pie!

A FOAF (or rather the employee of a friend) has started getting a lot of looks when she changed her plates to BIG RIGS. It’s not that she was well endowed, she’s a truck dispatcher.

My favorites (all plates that I actually saw and took the pictures of)
MRTH MBL, but no one I showed it to actually understood it. :frowning:
GOES 2 11
and, I thought there was another one…guess not. I have a picture of one that says SHROOMS, but that’s hardly worth uploading.

ETA, my favorite was on a Black Dodge Viper, only time I’ve ever seen one on the road, SLYTHRN
