From December 26th to December 31st, [adult swim] on the Cartoon Network will be showing all the Futurama episodes from start to finish, season 1 to season 5.
I’ll sleep for the 1/2 hour that Jurassic Bark is on, but other than that it’s Red Bull and Pep pills!

I wonder if there’s a way to find out if any networks have purchased any syndication rights (is that the right term?) for future showings.

Comedy Central has the syndication rights to all the old episodes, as well as airings of the new episodes, starting in 2008.
I’m glad to see there’s another person on these boards who finds Jurassic Bark tedious (except for Leela & Amy in ripped clothing of course).

The Comedy Channel has the rights for 2008 and I think 2009. Including showing the movie as a three part episode.
Comedy Central acquired the rights to Futurama in 2005 and from an interview : “[Matt] Groening ‘loves’ the fact that Futurama has landed on Comedy Central, because ‘we have a lot of leeway’ there.”
The new episodes (from Bender’s Big Score and the other “movies” in the pipeline) will also be shown on Comedy Central.
That is a good point–the leeway. They can get away with way more stuff on Comedy Central than on FOX. There were a couple jokes in the movie that I’m sure wouldn’t have made it on FOX. Then again, the show was funny when they had to fly under the radar (a little).

I also get a little sad in “A Fishful of Dollars” when Fry is getting depressed about missing the past. Not as sad as in those other episodes, but it is kinda touching.
I think that Where No Fan Has Gone Before is the single nerdiest half-hour of television ever produced. It’s also the most hysterical if you’re a fan of classic Star Trek. I recall when I watched it the first time someone kept asking me why I was convulsing with laughter.

Guilty as charged. That is my favorite episode of Futurama.
