I’ve noticed it for the past few weeks, but was never motivated to find out the reasons. Tonight, during the Busch race, I noticed it again, and dammit, now I need to know.
The picture skips, pixellates (if that’s even a word), and occasionally blacks out for less than a second. It was very pronounced during Nip/Tuck. Er, my wife was watching it, that’s my story, and I’m sticking to it. Tonight was fairly clear in Scranton, so I don’t think it’s weather related. Any one else notice this? Any theories?
Oh man, I thought it was just us! My dad and I are huge fans of The Shield, but for the last few weeks of the season, FX would have terrible reception problems. We’d lose picture for seconds at a time, and all the other problems you mentioned. Oh, we were so pissed! But I called our cable company and they swore it wasn’t their fault. I’m sorry you’re having problems too, but I’m glad to hear it is an across-the-board problem with FX and not just us or our awful cable provider.
Actually, FX here has really good reception on digital cable. We did have some problems when we just had the basic stuff.
