So here’s the deal. I have to go for this party tomorrow where the theme is hollywood. :smack:. Whoever doesn’t show up in an outfit gets fear-factor-type punishments inflicted on their unimaginative, hapless ass.
I’m stuck at work, and dont have time to go shopping for an outfit. I’m basically going batshit trying to figure out what to do, and was thinking of something along the lines of:
Gray slacks, and white shirt half-unbuttoned over a superman tee: Clark Kent in transition.
Buy a small stuffed gorilla (or monkey) and staple it to your shirt. Tell people you’re the Empire State Building, and your theme is King Kong. Works best if you wear gray.
Don’t shave if you’re going to be Indiana Jones. Didn’t he also wear boots of some kind as well? I suppose you could get a set of Groucho Marx glasses, put on a suit and crack wise if you can imitate Groucho Marx well. Got a long gaudy scarf, brown trench coat and a battered hat? (Over a suit maybe?) You could go as Tom Baker’s incarnation of Dr. Who. Scroll down to see an image. Works really well if you have curly hair. Here are more images.
In fact, you could put on grey pants, white shirt, dark brown jacket, the battered grungy hat, and a long gaudy scarf and be a decent representation of Tom Baker’s Dr. Who according to this doll image.
What are you complaining about? Those two ideas you have are great. I like the Superman one…stuff some old shirts or ??? into your chest area and arms for [stimpy]“Enorrrmous Pecto-ral muscles.”[/stimpy] For laughs I’d stuff a sock in my pants too…Man of steel, man of sperm.
You should try to get black-frame glasses, and if you have the hair, grease it all down and have a curl on your forehead.
Print “The Daily Planet” in Gothic or Bookman, landscape, probably 48 pt, with a light grey background. Cut and glue that to a newspaper, folded so that it shows.
Just wear your regular clothes and say you are an extra.
(Since when is Dr. Who ‘Hollywood’)
Leather Jacket, fedora, whip, and a walker=Indy Jones 4
(you don’t have a full outfit from either Star Wars or Star Trek in your closet?)
