In the spirit of other games posted here I offer this .
I got 80% a litle while ago.
This game has appeared here before - I lost my patience with it far too quickly!
94%
Avg. Error: 6 miles
The problems come when you get a bunch of midwestern and Rocky Mountain states early in the game.
My biggest errors came when I got Nebraska and Kentucky ealry on before having any points of reference nearby.

100% with 0 mile error, 333 seconds, while taking a phone call and writing notes.
Nebraska was 3rd in my line-up, but I eyeballed it pretty well, that was the only time I was sweating it.
I love geography, and I ate this stuff up when it was drilled into my memory in the 6th grade, where we were tested every Friday morning…names and capitals of each state along with the Pledge of Allegiance, hand written, all 31 words, properly spelled and capitalized and in order.
I work with developmentally disabled clients and we have a games/music room that has a puzzle of the states. Just for fun, I turn my back to the client or employee, and ask a client to pick a state from the puzzle and put it my hand without me looking at it. I will feel it in my hand and within a second or two, I will tell them the state and capital. Some of them were just awestruck, and there will be an occasional smartass that will try the old Colorado/Wyoming mixup to throw me off, but I can even tell the difference between those two.
94% - 13 miles average error. Wyoming came up second (after Connecticut) nad got me by a bunch.
94% - 4 miles error - 216 seconds. Would have done better if the first two states were both inland.
66%- Avg Error: 78 miles- 221 seconds
98% 20 mile error rate. I can find my way home! WOOHOO!
88%, average erroe 12 miles, 188 seconds.
I got hawaii and maine as my first two…then nebraksa, colorado, iowa, and west virginia. Apparantly, I think w.virginia is where kentuky is. :smack:
Very bad: 90% 24 miles and 711 seconds.
I managed to get Alaska wrong by being too impatient and just winging it over to the space for it. I mean, come on.

Are you an American expat? I certainly couldn’t do anywhere near that well with provinces of China.
90%, 24 miles average error, 295 seconds. Not too bad for never taking a geography class.
All I’ve got to say is: screw you Wyoming.
92%, 19 miles average error.
94% - 7 miles - 124 seconds
Third state I got was Idaho and mislocated it by 120 miles, next was Ohio and mislocated it by 150 miles, and the fifth was Colorado and mislocated by 80 miles. With no reference points those inland states can be tough!
