I managed to get Alaska wrong by being too impatient and just winging it over to the space for it. I mean, come on.

At the risk of highjacking my own thread, I think you may be the one to ask. I heard awhile back about a series of memory tricks to remember all the State capitals. One was “Juno the capital of Alaska?” Have you heard of this?

We had several, some were dumb, but they all worked. You had to remember that Ken(tucky) and Frank(fort) were friends, Mari(land) and Anna(polis) were friends, Bismark Pierred Lincoln with Tapioca Pudding. Then they get more obscure, like New Hampshire was a new version of Hampshire in England and you could take the Concord to England…and VerMontPelier and August is windy in Maine
