“If you think homosexual conduct should be illegal, you’re like this guy.”
Pretty smart equating those views with one of the most hated character on television.
You know who else hated the gays?
That’s awesome!
I continue to be bored to death by Daenarys and Bran Stark. I can’t stand the whole Stark/Reed plotline actually. But I have a little theory that it’s going to end up being very important. I’m going to go ahead and spoiler box my next comment but I want to make clear that its not a spoiler. It’s pure speculation.
My theory is that the Wall is going to fall before the end of the series. I mean, it has to, because we’ve spent so much time being told how important it is to protecting the Realms of Men or whatever they’re calling it. So the Wall’s going to go down, and the White Walkers and their minions are going to move south unimpeded. At this point, whatever Bran ends up doing in the north with the Reeds is the only thing that will save Westeros. If anything can save Westeros. It’s entirely possible that the entire civilization is going to fall.
Television speaks in shorthand. I think it’s pretty clear that to the extent that Jon had a shitty childhood, it’s because Catelyn made it shitty.
Yeah, I was going to say that Tywin is smart, eeevil smart. And Cersei certainly thinks of herself as a genius.
“I don’t like the sound of these here Boncentration Bamps.”
Actually, the swordplay is one part that doesn’t impress me about the show. I recall seeing a swordfight … was it one involving Jon Snow? … in which it looked like the participants could barely keep their swords up, with the pointy ends always in danger of dragging in the dirt.
Yeah, on the whole, the swordfights are kinda disappointing. Which is why that one with Jaime and Brienne stood out as an unusually good one, I thought.
