Tommen, the king?
Wrong, ALL men must die.
As the only known heir to Winterfell, Sansa is too much of a plot device to die. Same with Stannis. If he dies that whole plotline goes with him. He is very Dany-like in that regard. I think Littlefinger still needs Robin to retain control of the Vale. He will not kill him but I would not want to be Robin.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, he’s had like 5 lines in 4 seasons. I had a little difficulty with the name.
Sir Prize, I’m not sure how Winterfell lines go, but isn’t Bran heir to Winterfell? And Rincon after? If so, Sansa is not safe. As for Stannis, I think you are right, but his daughter and especially his wife are both expendable. As for Robin, it has to be either him or Littlefinger. My money’s on Littlefinger. How’s this, Robin makes Sansa fly, Littlefinger gets revenge?
They’re both presumed dead at Theon’s hands.
More info on this version of The Mountain. (No spoilers). Dude is 6’9" and over 400 pounds.
Best line of the article–“King’s Landing is scared to play Bama, you know”. To which, of course, I add ROLL TIDE!
Concerning the Hound, I wouldn’t be so sure: they did the same thing with Jaime when his hand was chopped off, talking about gangrene and him refusing a fuller amputation. I was sure he would die soon after arriving to King’s Landing but apparently he is fine.
Shae loved Tyrion but she wouldn’t leave to protect herself. Then Tyrion dumped her and made her think he loved Sansa. This made her so angry she agreed to turn on Tyrion and lie at the trial. I think Cersei spirited her off the boat as soon as Bronn’s back was turned and was filling her head with venom for Tyrion.
The dink at Castle Black is reacting very realistically. He doesn’t appreciate that times have changed and what has always worked needs to changed. You see it happen in all kinds of organizations. People who never want to change the way its always been done, even when disaster is just around the corner.
How hard would it be to make another tunnel under the wall anyways? Jerky McJerk made it sound like that would be it for their rangings if they sealed the tunnel, but it can’t really be more than a few weeks to make a new one right?
With all of the Night’s Guard on top of the wall throwing rocks and boiling tar on top of you while you do it? Probably more than a week.
Not for the bad guys, for the nightswatch after they deal with the bad guys.
Ah! That makes sense. And they wouldn’t really even need to build a new one - just excavate the old one. I think the objection was more on the principle of it, though - that plugging up the tunnel for the first time ever sends a pretty distinct message that these aren’t your grandfather’s Night’s Watchmen.
But it wouldn’t be admitting they are lesser men necessarily. They just don’t have the numbers.
The animation during the opening credits shows a sort of elevator on the outside of the wall. It’s not clear if that’s on the north or south side of the wall, but perhaps they can use that to get to the other side.
They use that to get on top, they would need a way to get down on the other side.
I love how they’re tying together lots of tiny threads from earlier seasons. Finally finding out who killed Jon Arryn and how the entire kerfuffle got started.
Bronn is marrying the lady Lolly, I’m not sure we’ve even seen the character but I remember hearing about her being gang-raped by the angry mob after the poop-flinging at Joffrey incident.
Arya and the guys Yoren felt were dangerous enough to cage on the way to the wall. One threatened her verbally while the other just made growling and biting snapping noises at her, and of course he bit the Hound, cause he’s a biter. Hot Pie making a direwolf cake for Brienne to take to Arya.
True enough - Shae is a very stupid girl. It just never sunk into her head that she was ever in danger.
Yeah, that’s true enough, too. He doesn’t want to hear what Jon Snow is saying, and he doesn’t want to hear it from Jon Snow.
Or else she was working for Tywin the entire time, was never in any danger from the Lannisters, but was trying to put on an act to keep Tyrion interested.
Presumed dead, but that they live puts a pretty big chink in Sansa’s proposed plot armor.
Jamie let the Maester burn the stump and otherwise treat it somewhat soon afterwards. The Hound refused similar treatment. That’s why I think he should be renting, not buying.
She doesn’t have plot armor but as long as everyone thinks she’s the key to Winterfell it benefits no one to off her.
