And just for reference, I went back and checked the episode - when Daario sees the greyscale on Jorah’s wrist, Jorah’s exact line is: “Don’t worry - it didn’t touch you.” So let’s consider this matter resolved (and I apologize if I misunderstood and this wasn’t what you were implying, but just in case anyone else is still under the mistaken impression that he exposed Dany, he didn’t).
I assumed he meant that Jorah’s more likely to be killed in combat than he is to die of relatively slow-acting grayscale. (And I suspect that Jorah’s affliction will eventually make him even more reckless. He’d rather go defending his Kaleesi that turn into The Thing.)
Shireen got it from a doll.
OK, I thought the “stab-in-the-back-last-second-save” and reference to the arena was supposed to imply he’s exposing people, and again if I misunderstood Mijin’s post I apologize. Either way, I’m glad that they resolved the matter this episode by making it clear that the disease only spreads by touching the affected tissue, which means he did not expose Dany, as many people weirdly believed.
Right, but since a doll isn’t organic we can’t know how it manifests on objects like that. But if the understanding of characters in this world, who supposedly have experience with it, is that it doesn’t spread from person to person if you don’t touch the tissue, then we should accept that and move on.
Well said. I’m still underwhelmed by their scenes together.

Those dragons really tied the dungeon together.
That’s right, exactly what
I meant.
I don’t really know what ** rigamarole ** thinks I was saying or what his rant is about.
If it’s about jorah putting people at risk, then yeah I’d say he probably is…
Even if it needs someone to touch the actual scales, that could easily happen accidentally at any time. What if dany tries to wake him by tapping him on the wrist?
What about when the baby’s brothers show up? Somehow that baby is going to figure in the fight against the White Walkers.
How fast do White Walkers grow up? If they bring Craster’s Last Son with them he’s still going to be in a stroller.![]()
Yeah, If I was Jorah, I’d have that arm wrapped up tight and covered in some kind of medieval looking leather arm guard thingee.
