Speaking of endings, next time we see The Crossings, it will be Lord Edmure and 30 pregnant Frey women.
His last scene last season was Dany telling him to heal himself. We don’t know how he got to the Citadel.
That would be an amazingly satisfying and ironic resolution to Jaime’s character arc. Jaime by now has realized that Cersei is just a nuts as the Mad King. But once he does so, I think he would have to kill himself as well.
That’s a certainty, since she showed up in the teaser for “Coming next week” just before a shot of Arya.
I think that’s just an isolation ward for victims of grayscale rather than a prison. It seems that Sam is working in a hospital (an appropriate place to be run by maesters) not a prison.
What is a book?
Aren’t they already in debt to them? I thought that was part of Stannis’s pitch to the Iron Bank.
That Samwell scene must have been really confusing.
Or “…the things I do for love.”
Who is kissing in the promo?
A Sand Snake and Theons sister?
It’s Yara Greyjoy, Theon’s sister. and Ellaria Sand, Oberyn Martell’s paramour and the mother of five of the Sand Snakes.
Ellaria hasn’t been shown with the fleet yet but since Dorne contributed ships it’s reasonable she will join them.
Something I just thought of: You mean all of these thousands of years all the undead had to do was walk around the wall?
He was a traitor who betrayed her. Her love of her children was her one humanizing trait. Oh well, crazy lady.
I think dying causes brain damage; it just never occurred to them.
I thought one end is at the sea and one end is at the mountains, so it’s not as easy as just “going around”. And per Zombie Stark, there’s “magic” that also repels the dead.
Technically the undead haven’t been around for thousands of years, and the wildlings do walk around the wall regularly.
Huh? The Wall was built to keep them away by Bran the Builder who was one of the First Men. The wildings can walk around the wall because they are not undead and so there are no magical spells keeping them north of the wall.
There’s a difference between casting an actor and casting a celebrity who is known for other things than acting. This was more like having Gordon Ramsay appear as a chef cameo or Mr. T as a gladiator.
Well maybe Brans mark HAS broken the magic then. Makes sense since magic or no, going through the wall isn’t efficient.
Why would you land your invading army on an island? Yeah, there’s a castle there, but you’ve got to feed them. And you’ve got to get back on the boats to get anywhere.
Well they’ve got aerial superiority if anyone tries to blockade them.
