Open spoilers even though this is mostly speculation since there hasn’t been a dragon fire v. wildfire fight yet to my knowledge. (I haven’t read all of the last book.)
Do you think that the Khaleesi will be immune to wildfire, or will it be the exception?
What about the Night Walkers?
What about dragons- do you think wildfire will burn them?
What do your guesses, speculations, and-or inside knowlege of the matter say?
For the show:
I expect Daenerys and the dragons to be immune to wildfire; their relationship with ordinary and dragon fires is clearly magical, and I haven’t seen any reason to think that wildfire is so special as to overcome that.
The potential vulnerabilities of the Walkers are less established; the place of obsidian has a magical basis, but it’s not clear how the Valyrian steel fits in. I think dragonfire will straight crisp the Walkers; wildfire might do as well, or less well, or be as easily dismissed as ordinary fire.
I’m wondering if the wildfire and Valyrian steel might somehow contain the same magical ingredient.
It’s the freaking Song of Ice and Fire init? Dragon fire will be central in the climactic fight with the forces of Winter. By that time who ever is left standing will unite against the common threat. The White Walkers can not survive the fire.
