I meant Texcat of course (and almost edited my previous message).
Well…you were indeed quick. Bricker seems now dubious, given the results.
Can’t we just nominate the first team plus one person?
I won’t be voting for a team that contains both TexCat and clairobscur, because it is obvious to me that one is a Spy.
Even granting TexCat’s suspicion of me, I find it amazing that she would propose a team containing someone who from her perspective (assuming she’s Resistance) has a 50% chance of being a Spy. You must be incredibly convinced of my guilt to even consider it, TexCat.
Or, you’ve been setting me up as a patsy with all your talk about how suspicious I am, in the knowledge that the mission was going to fail.
Obviously, my opinions are based on me not being a spy.
I tended to trust Texcat, and the fact he rejected the mission comfort me in this opinion (unless him and Stanislaus are both spies, and he voted against the team because it included two spies, but I have to start somewhere), so, at first glance, I would tend to support a Texcat+me+someone team. Depending on the someone, I guess.
Are you still thinking that Bricker and Terminus are both Resistance?
This post bothered me when I first saw it and given the subsequent failure of Bricker’s team it bothers me even more. It basically predicts the failure and then arbitrarily assigns the innocent and the guilty. Why is Bricker more suspect than Terminus before you even know the results? I will not vote for a team with Texcat on it. I think she voted against a team she was on, that she knew she would fail, to get Resistance cred.
My first instinct was to suggest team consisting of those who voted to reject: me, TexCat, and Mahaloth. But some rather valid concerns have been raised regarding TexCat. As sinjin points out, before knowing the results of the mission, why put me in the “good” column and Bricker in the “bad” column?
Mahaloth, what made you vote to reject the team?
I wanted a team that was the first team plus one other person.
Or I would have voted to accept something close if I was one of the others.
I’d like me, Terminus, and you.
I can accept that.
Bricker, you just had the opportunity to propose that team. Why didn’t you?
Sinjin and Terminus, I explained my reasoning in the next post to Clair. Did you not follow it? If I were a spy just trying for town cred by rejecting, why would I lay out exactly what I thought would happen and why?
Mahaloth, Terminus, Clair, What team combination of the four of us would you approve? I need to get your approval because the spies have already said they are going to reject it.
Basically, that’s a choice between Terminus and Mahaloth for me since I’d rather be part of the team, and amongst the three others I still trust you more.
I wanted to reread Terminus posts at the light of the recent events, but I guess I need to answer now, because we have few time, and I’m going to bed, so I won’t be able to discuss it until tomorrow.
I’m a bit annoyed by the insistance of Mahaloth to reuse the original team, I’m still wary of Terminus, but both rejected the last team, on the other hand. I prefer you, me and your (hopefully wise) choice between Terminus and Mahaloth.
Be annoyed if you like, but I thought it was the best call. Having seen that I am wrong, I am now advocating that team again plus myself. Keeping in mind I voted against the second team and was (let’s be honest, luckily) right, I should be a perfectly fine candidate for a third team.
For one, I have information now I did not have before.
I’m going with Clair, Mahaloth, Terminus.
TexCat has nominated a team of clairobscur, Mahaloth, and Terminus Est for Mission 3.1. Please send me your accept or reject votes by 10:00 am central time on Friday, December 5th.
Interesting choice, TexCat. Very interesting choice.
Yeah, I’ll say.
It’s either proposed by a spy or it’s got a spy on it. No other options. Reject.
Stanislaus,
Your rejection thrills me! Does that mean we’ve got a clean team?
BTW, proposed by a spy implies that it has a spy, so your either/or doesn’t really make much sense.
