Does anyone have any experience growing the different kinds of ruellia? I’ve seen tall versions and short, compact versions, and I’ve seen pink, purple, and white blooms. Specifically, I’m wondering what happens with saved seeds and volunteer seedlings … how do they cross?
I currently have both tall/pink and compact/purple ruellia (note: PDF) growing in a shared location, and I’m curious what it’ll look like over time.
Also, I have a potted compact white near a potted compact purple - will future generations be lavendar? or revert to purple?
