Garth Brooks - in Little Rock the next three nights

Garth flew in this afternoon. What a double bill. Garth and Tricia Yearwood!!!

I’ve waited over 15 years for this night. Love both these artists. Heck I’ve learned and play five of Garth’s songs. I’m learning his recent one *Mom *now. The only bigger country artist for me is Waylon and he’s not quite up to touring anymore. he’s dead

The tour is still early. He’s visiting a lot more cities.

The first show was great!

Only 12 more hours before we see Garth tonight. My wife and I are so excited. Garth is such a hard working performer vthat really tries so hard to please his audience. He doesn’t mind playing his old songs. Even if he’s played Thunder Road a thousand times he makes it seem fresh.

Thunder Road or The Thunder Rolls? lol

He still works as hard as ever. I won’t discuss it until you see it. I don’t know if concerts can really have spoilers, but stay until the lights come back on in the arena. Each time the band would leave the stage after “the last song” a bunch of people would leave, then they would all run out and do another one.

Garth is a class act. Says a lot that he took the time today to do this for the kids.

We had a great time at the concert Friday night. Made some special memories we can look back on. My wife and I came prepared with ear plugs. We knew it would be cranked up. Sounded just right for us with our plugs in our ears. I learned that lesson when I went to see Hank Williams jr in the late 80’s. My ears were ringing for two days. I’ve brought ear plugs to concerts since then.
