Gay sports bar names

I’m a fan of sports bars. I’m a fan of dirty sounding gay bar names (The Man Hole, Jackhammers, etc). And, while not gay myself, when I lived in Chicago I frequented a gay sports bar in Uptown for their awesome burgers (garlic-sauteed spinach as a burger topping? Hell yes!)

Anyway, it was called Crew Bar, which is a fine name for a fine bar. I just think they may have missed an opportunity to incorporate some cheekiness into their sports bar name.

My thoughts:
Hardballs.
The Tight End.
The Long Putter.
The Bear Cave (considering it’s Chicago).
What say you?

I used to go to one called Downtown Connection. Going with tight end, there’s always wide receiver.

Oh! A Jewish Gay Sports bar…the Tip Off.

Brilliant!

San Francisco recently got it’s first & only gay sports bar.

Hi Tops
COLD PITCHERS, HOT CATCHERS

The Whitest Kids U’ Know had a skit where they were trying to figure out a strip club to go to. They mention numerous funny straight club names then when they can’t decide, start naming funny gay club names. It’s not sports bars, but they’re still funny. Here’s the video.

I would think Switch Hitters would be the obvious choice.

Wouldn’t that be better for a Bi-sexual sports bar?

How about “Batting for the Other Team” or just “The Other Team”

While amusing, I doubt it. We don’t use that phrase.

Shuttlecocks

Why not simplify Foggy’s to just

Pitchers and Catchers

18 Holes

The Locker Room

Win!

Hit the Showers

Grab Some Wood

The Locker Room.

What is the point of a gay sports bar anyway? In all earnestness.

I would assume for people who enjoy gay bars and sports.
What’s the confusion?

For men who are into figure skating and women who are into hammer throwing, I guess. :stuck_out_tongue: :dubious:

FWIW, there used to be a gay bar in my town whose dumpster was very badly spray-painted purple. I always found that quite amusing.

On a related note, I present the Steak House or Gay Bar game.

Not really my thing, but the one I went to when I was younger was full of guys into football, baseball, etc. They wanted to enjoy the game while also hanging out in a gay bar.
