I found out about it on IMDb. I definitely want one now, though. Maybe you can help me with that.
*I have been ready at your hand, to grant whate’er thou wouldst crave,
though I would wager my life and land,
that Zoggie starteth not with a B… have.* (Sorry, it had to rhyme)
“Pushing Daisies” on Wednesday and “Ugly Betty” on Thursdays have made us better and happier men here.
I loved the way that they worked in the songs from “Wicked”. It was another mad and brilliant moment.
BTW if Marc dumps Cliff, I would be more than happy to console Cliff…
You better be planning on sharing, buster…
I think the writers should have given us more background on Marc before introducing this story line. I don’t think we’ve ever seen Marc with his friends, or with a boyfriend. Does he have friends? Are we just supposed to assume that his friends won’t like Cliff? Are we supposed to assume that Marc will choose a boyfriend based on appearance only? We’ve seen him fawn over gorgeous men/women, but we all do that – it doesn’t mean we’d want to date them.
I wonder if Nikko was really bitten by a monkey. It’d be cool if that was true.
Not Broadway.
Broadway theaters do not have lobbies that big. Felt just wrong to me…
No, it was actually the LA production at the Pantages Theater.
(With the current Glinda, Megan Hilty, and the current Elphaba, Eden Espinosa.)
(PPS: Hilty is no Chenoweth…)
Apparently you’re right about that.

The secret is to just type the basic message first, then go look for cites…
I bow to your post-fu!
Well, I’ll admit that it also helps that I gleaned that bit of trivia off of the TWOP forums last night, so I didn’t have to go looking for it, specifically.
No, she’s not. I couldn’t help wishing it was Kristin singing “Popular” last night (I still sang along anyway ). But Eden Espinosa is awesome. I adore Idina, but Eden’s pretty amazing in her own right.
Loved last night’s show. When they showed Justin trading Playbills with his friends, I called my husband in and said “This is going to be our son in 14 years if he’s anything like his mother.” .
Wherever it was, the lobby was gorgeous. I was impressed. I’ve never seen a Broadway show on Broadway. I kept expecting people to shush Betty and Gio and Daniel, but maybe New York theatergoers are more forgiving than Des Moines theatergoers.
Loved Christina and Betty and the coffee and donuts conversation.
Doubtful! The talking and the texting AND the leaving the theatre at a time that isn’t intermission would’ve gotten you a talking to. (When I saw “Spring Awakening,” an usher had to lecture a woman twice for constantly texting during the show. Sigh.)
Since Betty is filmed in LA, almost all exterior shots are green-screened. Betty’s neighborhood, house, even short street scenes are all filmed in studios rather than in a NYC stock neighborhood set in LA. Usually you can’t tell, but sometimes- the train that runs through Betty’s neighborhood for example- it’s a bit evident.
And I’d totally pick Henry over Gio, baby and all. Gio’s an arrogant, inconsiderate, selfish ass.
I’ve been known to tell people to get off the phone before I shove it up their ass. (In my defense, the asshole answered it twice in five minutes and felt no remorse about doing so.)
I believe that was at the “Seussical”. Imagine how much more colorful my language would have been at RENT or “Spring Awakening” (and I am highly jealous - now that I no longer live in NYC, I have a list of shows as long as my arm that I am dying to see, and that’s at the top.)
In fact, I was yelling at Betty and Henry to knock it off. My husband had to keep reminding me that they couldn’t hear me .
I don’t know if it’s true or not, but it’s widely reported that Laurence Fishburne got so irked by an audience cell phone user when he was in The Lion on Winter on Broadway that (from the top article on the link)
If it’s true I don’t fault him in the slightest. Hard to be in 1183 when a guy a few feet away is getting calls from the late 20th century.
