I should have read your poll question more closely and not the title. I voted “Both”, but actually agree with “Neither” as facts. Both Brown and Martin were criminals in the midst of committing violent assaults when they were justifiably killed.
No problem, I tried to make it clear and, failed in some way. I’m also interested in other news proven false., that most folks believe. The more cites the better. I’m trying to develop a trend here. The shooter on the grassy knoll being another example.
Hi, OP. It must make it very easy to understand the world when you perceive everything as black or white with no shades of gray. Let alone to imagine that { “Hands up, Don’t shoot” Michael Brown } is a well-formulated answerable question.

Trayvon Martin was killed by another man in disputed circumstances. His killer was found not guilty of second degree murder. I did not agree with the jury’s decision, and many other people didn’t either.

I still cannot figure out what this thread is about. Not having studied the issues in detail, I stick to the news reports that both are correct.

On a serious note, I have always believed that Trayvon Martin was guilty of nothing except being seen by a wannabe cop named George Zimmerman who appointed himself a neighborhood watchman. Was Martin a saint? No; he’d been in trouble with the law, but he did not deserve any of this. I do believe that if he hadn’t been gunned down, he would have gone on to outgrow his troublemaking and lead a respectable life.
Vaccines don’t cause autism either.
