Fubbles unvoted Astral (incorrectly) post 636. He then voted for Pleonast (correctly) post 641.

Texcat unvoted Astral 645, voted fubbles same post.

Hirka had voted for me, and you don’t note his vote or unvote in your vote count. He’s currently voting for Pleonast, post 649.

NETA: you have Hirka correctly listed, sorry. The other three are incorrect.

I guess I’m pretty horrible at this game.

At least you (presumably) knew the name of your team! Your play couldn’t possibly top that in this game, so you can safely take a home a W there.

So the assembled mass debated all day about who might be their enemy or who might not be their enemy. The transformation had befuddled some of their minds, but none could tell if the confusion was real or feigned. In the end a dangerous looking man was chosen to be the first to bleed at the steps, a gunslinger, but one saddened by a past of loss and regret. When they came for him, however, he would not go quietly. In a blur, he pulled out a blue steel revolver. “I am not the enemy you would seek!” he bellowed. He leveled the gun at his nearest assailant and pulled the trigger. Click Click and for once in his life the gun would not fire, and he knew he was dead.

It is now Night 1. Day 2 will begin on Wednesday at 7:00 pm ET.

So this means we killed one of the scums, right?

(I keed, I keed)

Sorry to see you go, fubbles.

I’m’a slap you with a trout!

**Red, you only gave alignment information concerning fubbleskag. Does this mean he was vanilla, or that you won’t be telling us roles, or that you forgot to put his role in? **

I won’t be telling you the roles.

hmmph

That’s a downright nasty twist on the closed game concept.

Wow, that’s cold, man. Real cold.

I respect that.

Y’know, I’m gonna go ahead and call that semi-gastardly.

Will the Scum learn the roles of the people they kill?

This is an interesting twist. Gut feeling: this hinders scum worse than it hurts us.

**
No Comment.**

Maybe. You have to assume that most prospective (town) lynch victims will not go to their deaths unclaimed, but most night kill victims will, at least for a while. Which means the mafia could wind up with a lot of uncertainty as to what roles are gone (or never existed) and what ones they still have to work around at night, depending how things shake out.

It does still hurt the town, though. It’s going to make it harder to judge role claims accurately, for instance; and could also make it harder to figure out what was going on in cases of confusing/conflicting/ambiguous action claims. And finally, regarding Special Ed’s question and Red’s non-answer, if the scum do get the role information on the players they kill, then any harm to them is more or less negated.

(Wild-ass speculation: scum have a player who prevents public role reveal while alive. I saw the inverse of that once.)

Or we have a forensic scientist role.

On which side?

well, I was thinking for Town, but maybe on the other side too.

I just don’t like it. If the Scum can find out but we can’t, they’ll have easy fake claims to make that won’t be countered.

I hadn’t considered that. That would suck pretty bad, and add to the whole paranoia we’ve been suffering when it comes to claims.
