I think you’re talking about Blaine Point (it’s something like that) in Washington state, which is separated from Washington via a body of water. However, the same statement could be made about Alaska.

Angle Inlet, Minnesota can be reached by land (at least my road atlas shows a dirt road going there) but only via Manitoba. Of course, you can always take a boat and stay in US waters for either place.
