Miscellaneous and Personal Stuff I Must Share

Assuming he wins the election, here is the short list of things to do:
-KOREA: tell S. Korea and Japan that they had better make a deal with N. Korea…we are taking our troops home. Its about damn time!
-Palestine/Israel: announce to Sharon and Arafat that they better resolve their differences…no cessation of hostiliies, or we stop all foreign aid/loans/grants, etc. to Israel, palestine, Egypt.
-The Balkans: Tell the EU that we will no longer have the army in Bosnia, they had better make arrangements to take over.
Germany: start dismantling the US bases, withdraw all troops by 2008
Energy Independence: declare a national program to cease the importation of oil. Develop atomic energy and beging a program of replacing coal-fired plants with new fluidized bed atomic reactors. mandate minimum 30 MPG fuel mileage on all new vehicles. Provide a $3000 tax credit to scrap an old vehicle, and replace with a new fuel-efficient vehicel (only for American-built vehicles).
CHINA: announce that future US-China trade will we on a reciprocal basis only. China must buy an equivilent amount of what the USA purchase in China.

Hmmm … if I read the OP correctly, what he seems to be suggesting is, “If you were to suddenly change places with George Bush (i.e., become president of the US), what would be at the top of your ‘To Do’ List?”

As such, this thread could be in GD, IMHO, or the Pit. But since this is MPSIMS, here’s my “Top 5”:

  1. Redecorate the Oval Office. Really, it’s so stuffy!

  2. Build a secret “bike tunnel” from the White House to somewhere out in the country so I can get in my cycling.

  3. Call together the various leaders of various warring countries, sects, rebellions, etc., and tell them to knock it off.

  4. Designate an official White House Cute Animal. Probably a puppy or kitten.

  5. Call up Fox and tell them they’d better renew Futurama and Firefly … or else!!! Hmm … maybe I should move this one up to #1.
