Would you increase military spending or give more to the schools? Would you attack someone new or disarm the troops? Would you tell Isreal you are a Foriegn country and not the 51st state… would you drill for Alaskan Oil? Or would you throw a big party ?
Legalize it.

Things I would push for as President:
Reconciliation with the international community and the UN. Get the US to sign on to the International Criminal Court. Have some kind of full-scale UN summit to straighten out plans for reconstruction in Iraq and Afghanistan; make a serious effort to ensure that these make progress, without simply having the US completely take over the operations of the countries. Do not get involved in any more wars if at all possible; Afghanistan and Iraq are problems enough and need to be attended to properly.
Repeal the Bush tax cuts. Review the PATRIOT act and hopefully get Congress to cut out some of the serious problems it contains, if not just dumping the thing in its entirety. Education is also a serious concern. Work in the direction of trying to improve poor public schools rather than talking about vouchers and other such nonsense. It doesn’t make sense to provide public schools, and then say, “well, if you really want a decent education, don’t go there.”
I would, as you may have guessed, run as a Democrat, and I would take the Al Gore strategy as an example of how not to campaign against Bush. Instead, I would make an effort to consistently pound on the problems I have with Bush’s views and actions (avoiding character assassination – there is plenty of real stuff to be said about Bush without stooping to “he’s dumb”) and accentuate our differences rather than waffling and appearing centrist. I would make a very, very serious effort to be as informed as humanly possible for debates, as I get the sense that Bush often relies on summaries of general ideas and would be easy to shut down if I actually knew the details.
By the way, the above is pretty much a summary of what I want to see in the '04 Democratic candidate. Hopefully they will not disappoint me with something else (coughLiebermanahem).

I’d start a reality show on FOX. “Who wants to be an intern?”
Legalize marijuna, and do review of other drugs as to cost/benfits of legalizing them.
Get rid of most gun control laws.
Stop treating Israel like the 51st - actually offer them statehood and get them to join the Union.
Annex Canada, at least the Western Provinces, and turn them into a couple of new states. That is where the oil is, and a lot fewer French people to deal with.
Cut and simplify taxes. Cut entitlement programs to create a balanced budget.
Raise military spending by ~5-10%.
Review Patriot Act, and reduce its scope and power.
Start selling federal land to the highest bidder - this includes ANWAR.
Crack down on illegal immigration, and have more stringent border checks; but increase legal immigration; especially from countries that terrorist haven’t come from.
