I pitty the fools in the Senate who thought it would be a good idea to try to crucify this guy on TV.

What is the record for thread moving?
Anyone got a link to a picture of a Giraffe with the caption, “Owned”?
Dunno. Let’s see if George the Lesses makes any moves towards disbanding the Imperial Senate, then we can see where that take us.

First of all, it’s “Pwn3d”, n00b.
Second of all, if you don’t want your thread passed around the board like a groupie at an Aerosmith concert, write a Pit-worthy OP.
Third of all, being sent to MPSIMS isn’t such a bad thing. There’s been lots of great threads in MPSIMS over the years. Like, uh, that one about the, um, puppies.
Ahh, that made me laugh at my pc. Thanks Giraffe!
Along with a hot-pink Post-It Note[sup]TM[/sup] reading, “Learn, IDIOTS!”
In my paranoia, I think that you keep moving this thread so that I will not be able to find it, and will stop posting.
Kind of like moving the party on somebody in HS. (think I just thought of a IMHO thread!).
Anyhoo-any chance of the DNC learning from the esteemed gentleman from Kent (is it Kent?)?
Just a few more fora to go and there will be a “Moved” link on each of them. Hmm, how can we make this a Cafe Society discussion next? Perhaps by discussing the stylistic aspects of this TV appearance?
You get extra special double points if you can wedge this into ATMB.

that made me laugh.
Sure, let’s compare the physical appearances of Coleman and Galloway ala Nixon and Kennedy debates…
Then do a IMHO of who did a better “spin”–we could do this!
(but what could we ask Cecil about?)
We could mention that “the boys of the NYPD choir are still singing Galloway Bay” and turn it into a Shane McGowan thread.
I guess it’s too late to compare Coleman’s teeth to McGowan’s. Norm went and had them capped.
What’s the greatest number of times a thread has been moved on TMB?
Better yet, “How not to write a thread if you don’t want it bounced all over cree-ation.”

The chair recognizes the delegate from Tau Ceti 5…
Due to my fondness for useless information, and having fun playing, for a moment, at “let’s pretend it is Gen Qs”, George Galloway is from Dundee, but the parliamentary constituency he now represents is the London one of Bethnal Green and Bow. Oh, and his recent victory there will not have given Tony Blair any reasons to be cheerful.
(There, even a musical reference, too
Any Ian Dury fans? )
I have not been watching the Galloway v. the US Senate show on television, having given up on television, but am having a lovely time catching up with it in the online press coverage.
I had the idea that the US Senate imagined that Galloway would simply throw up his hands and say" All right, you people outnumber me. I give up" Hahah no.
Silly silly Senate.
What are the first two parts anyway? Somewhere along with Mel Brook’s Complete History of the World Trilogy?
Loved it, just loved it, 'specially tearing Norm Coleman a new one. Norm is such a wanker, Garrison Keillor hates his guts! Its like trying to imagine Emily Dickinson working out with nunchucks.
