George Zimmerman - In the news again

I can’t take credit. Some version of it has probably been used by every firearms instructor since the beginning of firearms instructors.

You don’t say.

Good for you.

Now that you mention it, I’m thinking of replacing my pool table felt. Any recommendations for the felt and the adhesive? It’s located in a dry basement, on a cement floor.

I’m looking for a “pool table green” color which everyone seems to carry, and stain-resistant. Any thoughts on the “speed” of one type of felt over another?

I did say. It’s right there above your reply.

Ha! You are a caution!

What’s a “caution”? I know what a henweigh is. Are they similar?

I don’t think you do.

There’s no point in having multiple dictionaries to choose from if you don’t take advantage of the situation.

Good one!

If you want to look up stuff on Urbandictionary, go look up “thug”. Here, I’ll do it for you:

2.) Caucasian slang for nigger, used in cases where upper middle class respectable white people want to express their disdain for what they feel are vaguely frightening black people but don’t want to face the social and physical consequences of openly using the word nigger.

I think you just got rekt.

Bwahahaha. I think you’re making up words to make your posts indecipherable.

Which words confused you? Did you try looking them up?

Ha! Classic! You’re on a roll today, doorhinge!

Then how has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

LOL! Good one! I can’t stop spitting coffee on my monitor!!

And if witness testimony suggests that no reasonable person in his situation would have such fear, shouldn’t their testimony be heard?

And in answer to your first question: Yes, I am saying putting in prison some people who’s first reaction to a tense situation is to shoot the person in front of them on the off chance that that person might be about to shoot them is worth reducing the number of people being needlessly killed. Even if Dunn was wrongly convicted of murder, his penalty was still much less than the one received by Davis, and so laws should be in place to prevent this sort of tragedy.

Yes, it should be heard. But you can’t base a claim of guilty on testimony that merely suggests it.

I disagree, on two grounds. Firstly, what happened to Davis was not a penalty, not a punishment. It was either a crime, or it was an unfortunate side effect of Dunn defending himself.

Secondly, comparing the fates of Davis and Dunn is irrelevant. The principle that, because something terrible happened to one person, something bad but less terrible happening to someone else - who doesn’t deserve it - is fine, seems to me to be a terrible principle for a justice system to adopt.

Basically, what some people have been saying is that, because some people abuse self defence laws to get away with murder, those who act completely within those laws should still face some punishment. That, I reject utterly.
