What logic really dictates is that Martin would not have fled in a straight line. That fits the timeline.

Beyond that, the maps in the NY Times article are very insightful. It is crystal clear that distance from Zimmerman’s truck to the place where Trayvon was shot is far less than 350 feet and more likely 75 feet.
Also it should be noted that Travyon’s home is a mere ten homes from when he died. That’s probably 350 ft from Zimmerman’s truck

Go to Google Maps and measure it. 75 feet was to the front of 1231 Twin Trees Lane, not the rear.
~200 feet from his truck down the footpath to Retreat View Circle + ~150 feet back across the footpath = ~350 feet.

A 17 year old black child confronted a man who had profiled him for merely existing in his own neighborhood, the situation escalated, the child ended up dead, and half the country holds the child largely responsible for not having run away from the adult, rather than the adult who incorrectly profiled a child as a thief and shot him. Those are the facts.

According to LAZombie, Trayvon running away and hiding is evidence of Martin’s malice. Zimmerman’s chasing and hunting is evidence of George’s innocence.
Zimmerman can literally single out, chase, hunt, and kill a child who’s running away scared; hiding in the middle of the night from the gunman is evidence of his “guilt” and righteous slaughter.
Well… yeah. That’s Zimmerman’s target audience. His efforts are to not be forgotten by them, such silly easily-distracted creatures they are.
