After a long time trying to locate this stuff online I finally have this particular search marked off my Lifetime To-Do List.
First, I located World of Gerald McBoing Boing Theme Song at least a year ago and for a long time it was the only version I could find online. I knew I had heard a jazzier version of it somewhere in my LP collection at least 30 years ago but I couldn’t remember the title or even the artist.
Never heard of Gerald McBoingBoing until now, and I tip my hat to you for mentioning it. I loved it, and was particularly amused by the pocket xylophone* to refer to a certain radio network that shall remain nameless.
*Is that a xylophone in your pocket or are you happy to see me? Both!
Glad you like(d) it! Thanks for keeping this from being another of my “0 Replies” threads.
The cartoon goes way back and probably got a lot of play on early TV. Therefore, I’m not real clear on when it first came to my attention. The music has bugged me most of my life, though.
Yep. That was cool with the plastic thing you put on the TV screen so you could color stuff. Blue sky section, green lower part (grass, probably) and a tan or neutral middle. It was cool to see Barry again on 21.
