Help me find the lyrics to this song from "Gerald McBoing-Boing"

Back in the '70s I saw a cartoon apparently dating from the '50s, featuring a catchy song – the refrain went:

Be quiet, kind, and gentle
Quiet, kind, and gentle
Quite, kind, and gentle
In everything you do
Be quiet, kind, and gentle
Quiet, kind, and gentle
And Heaven will smile on you!

I’m trying to find the complete lyrics. I managed to identify the source as one of the “Gerald McBoing Boing” cartoons – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerald_McBoing_Boing, but that’s as far as I seem to get.

. . . Actually, I meant to post this in CS. Mods, please move.

cant solve your problem - the lyrics dont seem to exist on the internet - but you can download the original radio story of Gerald McBoing Boing that I remember listening to from the sixties - brought back fond memories

Mods? Move thread to CS? Please?

BTW, I’m assuming the song in question comes from a Gerald McBoing-Boing cartoon only because I got it from what seemed to be a '50s animated cartoon (by drawing styel) and when I enter “Be quiet, kind, and gentle” into the Wikipedia’s search engine, it takes me straight to the Gerald McBoing-Boing page. But the song title appears nowhere on that page.

If you want to check it out for yourself, all of the Gerald McBoing-Boing cartoons are on the Hellboy DVD, in the supplemental materials.

Moved to CS.
