Okay, heres a strange one.
I remember a weird song when I was a kid (mid-late 60’s) called “Little Bo Peep”. It was not a childrens song.
I don’t recall the lyrics exactly, but some of them went:
“Little Bo Peep was a struten down the street, and when she walked by, Little Jackie Horner, standing in the corner, casually winked his eye.
She’s a pretty girl, but Jackie knew, she liked to cheat with Little Boy Blue, all the boys groove, at the sound, 'cause Little Bo Peep is a coming to town”
Then there was a chorus:
“She was a bad girl, a very bad girl.
A whutsi tootsie too, a whoopti doopty doo.
A very, very bad girl, yeah yeah, a very very bad girl”
(I told you it was a weird song:D)
Does anybody have any idea who did this song, and what the entire lyrics are?
I’m honestly confused. What was “very strange” about it? A crappy, throwaway B side from '61, and very much in the style of the day. They did go to a lot of trouble for it, considering “Wooden Heart” was obviously the hit.
